Organic Chemistry is the backbone of chemistry, have scope in industrial rea such as organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, research methodology etc. Also students has opportunity in research, education and forensic science.

A candidate shall be admitted to the First year for the Master of Science (Organic chemistry) in the faculty of science, provided that he/she passes Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at B.Sc. level with minimum of 50% of marks (45% marks for reserved category).
