Best practices are used to maintain quality as an alternative to mandatory legislated standards and can be based on self assessment or bench marking. Best practice is a feature of accredited management standards. Most of the innovative practices when reutilized get converted in to best or smart practices. Best practices change as per the locality, needs of stake holders. Some of the best practices established in our institution are as follows:

  • Development of need based and socially relevant programs (add-on, bridge course, skill oriented)
  • Extensive and intensive academic exercise for the restructuring of the course.
  • Feedback mechanism regarding revision of syllabus as BOS member or authority to affiliated university.
  • Additional emphasis on ICT component in upgrading content and transaction of curriculum at different levels.
  • Promotion of science and vocational education.
  • Flexibility in curriculum – subject options.
  • Providing infrastructure for government and non-government examinations and other educational activities.
  • Senior citizens and other stakeholders are allowed to use outdoor, indoor facilities in morning and evening.
  • Consultancy with agricultural field (farmer) regarding organic compositing, vermiculture, agricultural pests and their control etc.
  • Awareness campaigns for women empowerment through proactive cell, NSS, NCC.

  • Guest lecturer and field trips Objectives: To exposé students to eminent personalities in various fields- To provide hands on experience and to give better knowledge on the subject.

  • Extended facilities to the differently abled students - To address the problems of the differently abled students. To ensure equality and create better learning environment.
  • Joy of sharing - To make students realize the value of sharing. To make them feel compassionate towards the less privileged. Ex : on occasion of natural disasters, calamites and accidents, blood donation. Students are encouraged to participate in share and extend help in cash and kind.
  • Concern for destitute - To make students sensitive to social concern. To contribute time and efforts for orphans and the destitute. To inculcate the spirit of compassion and humanity. Action : to raise funds to help orphan and destitute in cash or to supply equipments, books, blankets and utensils etc.
  • Maintenance of Teachers Diary - Specially prepared Teachers Diary is designed to maintain their Academic and Research record. Every year each teacher filled up the details of the academic planning, lectures taken, examination work done, attendance record of seminar/workshop/conference, meeting attended, leave records etc. Hereby overall details of a Teacher can be maintained.
  • College Open day: To help the school children’s in their projects and also make aware to our college students about social responsibilities; a visit of school teacher’s and children’s to the various departments of our college had been arranged every year. The students from our mother institutes were get benefited by this activity every year in the month of December.
  • Motivational videos - The shows of Motivational videos have been arranged by the Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry club especially for girl students thereby they got courage and developed their hidden potential too.
  • Internal Squads in examination - Our College has been appointed Internal Squads at the time of university examination for the fair examination.
  • Faculty Exchange Programme - S.B.E.S. COLLEGE OF SCIENCE (Department of Analytical Chemistry) has established MOU with Dr. Rafiq Zakaria College for Women’s Aurangabad and with SHODH ADVANTECH, Aurangabad.
  • IMAGE PROJECTION SYSTEM - It is used while conducting the practicals in the Life Sciences hence the student got very clear ideas about the conceptual level.
  • Psychological counseling cell for Students counseling - In the competitive era many students are stressed and have lack of confidence. To overcome this phase we founded, “Psychological counseling Cell”, where we spoke and suggest the students time to time.
  • Hall wise Time-table - Hall wise time table is displayed on the each class room where the time, name of the teacher and subject had been mentioned.
  • Knowledge Park - In the open space in between the buildings we developed the ‘Knowledge park’, where we placed the basic as well as recent information of the various subjects.
  • Museum - The valuable preservation of Plants and Animals had been kept in Botany and Zoology departments respectively.
  • Placement cell - Every year college organizes campus interviews which is open for all Graduate candidates. Leading pharmaceuticals industries like Lupin, Wokhardt, Hermen, Myelon, Fizer, and Goodyear tyres have organized campus interviews in the college. Total 388. Students have selected in these pharmaceuticals industries.
  • Department of Performing Arts - To boost the hidden talents (like acting, drama) of students, college has started Department of Performing Arts.
  • Mentor System – The mentor system helps students to solve their academic and other related problems.
  • YOGA DAY - 21st June is International Yoga day. College organizes yoga and meditation practice session under the guidance of expert yoga guru. Department of Sports has started Certificate Course in Yoga for staff as well students.
  • News paper cuttings - News paper cuttings related to Academic news are displayed on Notice Board.
  • Recitation of the Earth Pledge - To create awareness about Environment, Vasundharechi Pratidnya is recited before every Programme organized by department of Environment Science.
  • No Vehicles Day - To minimize air and noise pollution, on First and Fifteenth day of every month college organizes No Vehicle Day. On this day staff as well students use public transports and bicycle. If 1st and 15th day have holy day then this practice organized on next day.
  • Solar Grid - To cope with increasing demands of electricity and to avoid the problem load shading, college has set up Solar Panel.
