Dear Students,
“Progress in Science Education is a Prerequisite for Global Economic Development and Peace”. Warm Welcome in an educational and cultural hub S.B.E.S. College of Science, which has got a rich history of more than 50 years and is a wing of Shri. S.B. Education Society which was founded in 1915 and has just witnessed the Centenary Celebration. Slogan of the College is “Sanctity, Sacrifice and Scientific Temper” and functioning under the able guidance of Management of the Institution. Our vision is to make every student self-reliable, self-sufficient and responsible element of the Society by imparting him holistic education with the scientific temper for Junior, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research students. The reflection of these efforts are seen when alumni of this institution exhibits there sharpened and intellectual potential, Zeal and Zest for the benefit of the Society.
It gives me immense pleasure to announce ll Certificate Courses to be started from the current academic year i.e. 2018-19, along with existing programmers offered at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. These courses are dedicated for value education and employment skill oriented. To support the Ph.D. students, a well-equipped central research laboratory is proposed to establish in the near future. This facility will also be beneficial for everyone who wants to pursue research. To ensure the academic Co-curricular and extracurricular development of the students, College is located in the heart of city with Well-equipped Laboratories, Class rooms, Library, Canteen and sports complex.
For overall personality development of the students NCC, NSS, Sports facility and Cultural activities are being conducted every year. Consultancy and extension services are provided through NAMP Project, Apiculture, Sericulture Tissue Culture, Waste Water Management, Water Harvesting, Solar Energy, Medicine Plants, Drama and Music, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Maintenance etc.
College provides our students with enhanced global visibility, a wide range of contacts and professionals networking opportunities (Tie ups, MOU‘s), academic scholarships, cost beneficial services, information and necessary guidance.
The college has a very active and functional Placement Cell through which till date 168 campus interviews have been organized for the students in which 2161 students are employed in National and Multinational companies.
